Description

Casina Bric, which in Piedmontese dialect means “Cascina Bricco,” is of the Langhe located in Vergne, a hamlet of Barolo, where the winery rises to the highest altitude of the area, 460 meters. Gianluca Viberti, a sensitive and passionate winemaker, founded Casina Bric in 2010, giving life to a project that has always sought to create a place that respects nature in every aspect, imprinting upon it as little as possible. This producer makes extensive use of long macerations, prolonged for up to 40 days, and a traditional practice called “vinegar splint” which consists of completely immersing the cap of the marc in wine through wooden staves from the disassembly of barrels used.
