Bolgheri “Sassicaia” Tenuta San Guido DOC 2016

Sassicaia is undoubtedly one of the most famous Italian wines in the world. It comes from a vineyard of 75 hectares particularly suited, in which the parcels have different characteristics, with limestone formations and a high stony content, a particularity from which probably derives the toponym “sassicaia”. The exposure of the land is west and south-west. The fermentation takes place in steel, at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for about 10 days. The aging of Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC 2013 of Tenuta San Guido takes place in French oak barriques, for 24 months, with subsequent bottling.
