PRELIT by Damijan is one of the premium wines from the Collio region and it’s an excellent example of Damijan Podversic’s winemaking ability.

The Merlot’s fruity notes are accompanied by the elegant tannin of old Cabernet Sauvignon, which adds to the wine an important structure and a smooth final taste.

The maceration begins in big oak barrels for 40 days. Once the fermentation is finished, the wine is aged in 20 or 30 hl barrels for 3 years and rests in bottles for 1 year. The presence of sediments is essential to keep the wine alive, keeping the taste fresh and vigorous all the way to the glass.

You can enjoy a wonderful glass of this red with a delicious meat dinner.
