Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC 2014

55

One of the wines that made the history of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It expresses all the strength and elegance of the caillouteux terroir and the climate of southern France. La Châteauneuf-du-Pape “La Crau” Rouge Vieux Télégraphe is a wine that manages to marvelously combine finesse and power, with a complexity of aromas and extraordinary sensations. The vines with which it is produced are around 50 years old. The harvest is manual and fermentation is done in stainless steel tanks and in wooden barrels, for a period of 25/40 days with indigenous yeasts. The wine ages for 9 months in cement tanks and for another 8/12 in 50 / 70hl barrels. It is finally bottled without filtering.
