Pinot Grigio Dario Princic IGT 2012

35

The small farm of Dario Princic is located at the foot of the mountains that mark the border with neighboring Slovenia. From there, you can see the two Gorizia, one Italian and the other, Nova Gorica, Slovenian. The winery is on 10 hectares, less than 6 of which are vineyards, with classic clay-limestone terrain. The Pinot Grigio of Dario Princic is a white wine macerated on the skins and aged for 30 months in large French oak barrels. Complex on the nose, notes of candied citrus fruits, hibiscus and spices. Mineral saline on the palate, fresh and tannin present, but never invasive.
